Log Cabin Farm Alpacas LLC is owned and operated by Jane & John Nielsen of East Albany, Vermont. 

We are a small Huacaya alpaca breeding farm in the hills of northern Vermont. Our long cold winters encourages our animals to grow very dense coats of super soft and fine fiber while our breeding program places special focus on selecting genetics from some of the finest blood lines available in North America.

The results are healthy and vigorous alpacas that exhibit quality fiber and sound confirmation. We exhibit at select alpaca shows yearly; both to gain qualified professional judging validation of our breeding decisions and to compare against other farms.Our barn-full of ribbons is evidence that we are making the right decisions.

We are looking forward to working with new alpaca farmers, (and established breeders alike), to provide you with quality animals for your farm at fair and just market prices. Our genetics are also available via our own herdsires via mobile and drive-by breedings. Financing available to qualified buyers, National delivery available.
