Allure was the most highly anticipated cria for our 2009 birthing season. Her dam, Keepsake, a Snowmass Quechua daughter, has the finest fiber ever on our farm. Keepsake's first shearing at 22.5 months produced fiber with a 13.9 micron. Now do you see what all the excitement is about! rnrnrnrnWe bred Allure's dam, Keepsake, to our LF full Accoyo herdsire, Royal Avenger, and produced this beautiful little female with fiber comparable to an Angora rabbit. I have never felt fiber so soft before. A look at her histogram results for each year indicate that she is retaining her fineness as she matures. Isn't that what this industry is breeding for... it should be!
rnrnrnrnOur plan is to breed her to Enterprise this spring. Uniformity and extreme fineness should be the expected traits on that little one.
