Zizi was a surprise both in color and fleece style. She is exhibiting bundles with well defined low magnitude, high amplitude fleece consistent from nose to toes. Our first assessment thought a medium fawn but time has developed a beautiful medium brown in a vicuna pattern.
She is a strong maiden (165 pounds) with great conformation and a lot of energy - watch out when you walk the pasture, here she comes again playing cria ricochet off the other dams.
Zizi is medium density and is the one trait we hope will improve as she ages. 2014 update showed Zizi has filled in and has the density we had hoped would develop. Along with the density we see consistency across the fleece providing a very kind hand. The reflective nature of her fleece makes it appear to shimmer in the light.
As are all our alpacas, she is AVID chipped, BVDV tested negative, and CD&T inoculated.
