As her AFDs show true (below), she has beautiful, dense & crimpy, low-micron count fleece, with a lovely, soft handle & lots of luster. Her sire, Jolimont Gold Dust's parents---Draco & Shonda Sunrise-- were imported from the Sollocota Co-operative in Peru by the Jolimont ranch of Australia. Shonda Sunrise was then imported to Canada where she gave birth to Gold Dust Sunrise, later renamed Jolimont Gold Dust. In the 2003 Kentucky Classic, Gold Dust won 2nd Place Mature Male, suggesting that his strong bones & dense fleece are enduring traits. He also has a gentle disposition, which proved itself in Lucia & her offspring.Her dam, Zhanna Sunrise is a world traveler! Conceived in Peru, exported to Australia, & then to La Pampa Sunrise Alpacas in Canada. She then came to the USA.
