True black daughter of Sunny Mesas Coal Black and Arroyo Secos Penelope, who is rose gray. Penelopes dam was silver gray. Scarlett is a big, strong girl with ultra fine fiber.

Scarlett is a stunning true black experienced female, with strong bone, and ultra fine black fiber.

Sunny Mesa's Coal Black is Scarlett's sire and her dam is Arroyo Seco's Penelope who is a rose gray. She also has Royal Peruvian Challenger, 4Peruvian Chaval, PPPeruvian Aphrodite, Acero Marka's Royal Icing, The Silversmith HST, White Cloud, Peruvian Lily, PPeruvian Monzon, SWR TIger Paw, McKenzi Codi, and SA Inca Ruler - a pedigree chock full of colored genetics.

Scarlett has a wonderful mothering instinct and is nurturing with the younger alpacas in the herd. Scarlett also has excellent conformation and straight legs and a proportionate body. Her bite is correct. Her personality is somewhat aloof, and she can be a little difficult to catch sometimes.

Scarlett's fleece is quite fine and is fun to hand spin. Her fiber is reasonably dense, especially for a black. Her fleece is a little bit straight but with a fine crimp. Her rovings are very fine.

Scarlett would be a gorgeous addition to any breeding program. She will be bred Summer 2018.
