Personality- wise - Stormy is a bit aloof but is halter trained, and easily handled. She mixes well with the herd and is very close with her cria Princess that is now an adult.
Stormy's fleece has great density, lock structure, luster and handle and makes excellent yarns.
Stormy has produced one cria - Ryamlima's Mahogony Princess in 2013. Princess is a gorgeous reddish brown girl with beautiful fleece. Stormy was a very attentive and nurturing mother, but had a lack of milk and colostrum. Her first cria was also premature, which was likely to have affected Stormy's difficulties with her milk production. Princess is a healthy and strong adult. Stormy has formed a strong bond with Princess, and even now as adults they are both very close.
Dark and Stormy's genetics, dark fleece, and ease of handling make her a a great female. It would be worth breeding her again to a high quality male (with watchful owners) to see what she can produce, and if a second pregnancy can be handled well.
