He is now available for others to use this very special stud. Easy handling, quick breeder, good linage and great looks!
Donavon's parentage goes back to the famous Torbio. His has lovely pencil locks from head to tail and a typical suri head. He is a very gentle and quiet guy.
Some of Donavon Silk's fleece was just handspun and made into a scarf. All anyone can say about it was "wow" and "can I buy it?". His fiber is really white with a very high luster and a great hand. His nick name of "silk" is very well deserved.
Donavon Silk's first cria (Mariah) arrived 6/18/2008 and was a white girl with light fawn markings weighing 20.9 pounds. Silk's 2009 cria (Marcus) arrived on 6/16/2009, a boy that looks a lot like his sister. Silk's 2010 cria (Martin)is a boy that weighed 20 pounds and looks like his sister and brother.
Silk is a very great breeder. He is easy to handle, is nice to the ladies and knows just what to do and doesn't waste time getting job done. We are calling him "Mr quick-shot" now since he has bred our Ninia only once the first two years and twice the third year and got her pregnant each time. Makes breeding season much easier. Great looks, good lineage, easy handler and quick breeder, what more could you ask from a stud? If you are looking to add luster and lock structure to your herd, this guy is the one to buy.
