MacGyverson's Dam, Starlette, is perhaps the finest dam with whom MacGyver has produced offspring. She is the dam of National Champion Celestina, Multi-Champion Synergy, National Champion Sirius Black, and of course National Champion MacGyverson, all multiple champions in the largest shows in the country.
MacGyverson ended his show career with a bang! Against 40 of the nations most outstanding male, brown, suri alpacas, MacGyverson placed First Place and Color Champion at the 2005 AOBA National Conference. As Jude Anderson stated, "This alpaca is the complete male suri package." Let's say, this guy stands out in a crowd. He has a striking confidence and presence about him and yet, is a perfect gentleman in every respect.
Of course, it's great to excel in the show ring, but for a Herdsire to really prove himself- it's the quality of his offspring that puts a stamp on his Herdsire Status. MacGyverson's offspring have been SCREAMING FANTASTIC! He passes on his dark color, he passes on his lock structure, he passes on his bone, he passes on his beautiful head, and finally, he passes on his easy temperment. He has produced numerous champions, including Peruvian Enrique who took Champion of Champions at the 2008 Sweepstakes.Other than winning The Judge's Choice Award in the largest Suri Alpaca showing in the world, another indicator that an alpaca is truly qualified to win the Judge's Choice Award is by winning the award more than once. And that is exactly what MacGyverson's Enrique did! Every show Enrique entered, the judges and the other contestants marveled at his outstanding fleece and stature. And again, for us, the real winners of the shows were our stud, MACGYVERSON, and our dam, TRINITY. They created a masterpiece in Enrique. Our studs, Maserati and MacGyverson, both champions themselves, consistently produced champions. It is with pride and pleasure that we offer these two incredible studs to the alpaca world.
