Barney's Babe is a dark brown girl with lovely conformation and fine, crimped fleece for her dark color.
Her first cria was a true black female who tragically died from an injury at a few days of age. Her second cria, Chukulati, (by our Stormcat), is a lovely dark brown girl who did fabulously well in the show ring, with 3 championships. Congratulations to Jamie Clark Richard of Paca Paradise, who purchased Chukulati!
BB has also had a lovely bay black female crias by our champion herdsire, AJ Stormcat. We think she's found her soul-mate! Iquique, her second cria from AJ Stormcat has repeated her big sister's performance with a Color Championship her first time in the ring!
Barney's Babe would be a great addtion to any herd, and is a producer of champions! Barney's Babe has also maintained good fiber characteristics as she has matured. This is especially desirable in an alpaca with dark fleece.
