Kaycee has exceptional color and high quality genetics. Her sire is Starsky By Snowmass Enlightenment -the award winning light silver grey herdsire, and his grandsire is the stunning and magnificent grey stud Snowmass Enlightenment, both exceptional multiple reserve and ribbon winning champions. Kaycee's great grandparents are the infamous and elite Herdsire of the Year 2006/2007 - Snowmass XXXtreme and great granddam Snowmass Silver Star (a Peruvian Casanova daughter).
Kayce's dam is Cassie, a Full Peruvian, 2nd generation import foundation female.
Kaycee's fleece is a stunning bay black color that is fine and soft with a medium frequency crimp, and high comfort level. Kaycee's fleece is good for hand spinners and knitters with next to skin products.
Conformationally, Kaycee is average in bone structure and weight, and is overall balanced.
Kaycee is friendly and likes to play with other crias. She is very social with both her herd mates as well as with humans. She is by far the friendliest of our batch of 2015 crias. She is very sweet and loves human interaction, running to greet you at the gate. She is very curious and will check into any changes in her environment. She will be halter trained when she is weened.
We expect Kaycee to blossom into a solid foundation female. She has high quality genetics that will allow her to create high quality offspring and fleece products. She would also be great for a family with children and would be easy to train for performance and/or agility events. She comes with a breeding to any of our herdsires when she is of age.
