Neenah's sire is Paca's Hollywood Intrigue, the multiple ribbon winning dark silver grey stud! Intrigue's sire is Royal Peruvian Sherman, son of 4Peruvian Chaval and 4Peruvian Angelica. On her sire's side she also carries the color genetics of Peruvian Oro, and Goldie Hawn.
Neenah's dam is Ara Mina - who has a true burgundy and dark brown colored fleece. Ara Mina is out of the extremely rare 100% Bolivian import, Legacy de Bolivia, a silver gray and vicuna fawn. Her dam is Faye Dunaway.
Neenah's fleece is exceptional. She has an extreme fineness that has a soft buttery exquisite handle with a high frequency crimp structure. Her crimp extends all the way down her chest and legs. Her blanket is solid and carries a white "tiara" on her head. Her gorgeous medium brown color looks like dark caramel. Neenah's fleece makes a gorgeous yarn that is good for next to skin products like scarves, blankets, hats, and more.
Overall, Neenah has excellent conformation. She is an average sized female with a square frame that is a balance of 1/3 ratio of head/neck/body and legs. She also has average bone size and a nice square stance.
Personality wise Neenah is one of the sweetest alpacas on our ranch. She is halter trained, a good herd mate to other alpacas and is very friendly with humans, always loving to give kisses. Every one of her cria also like to give kisses. She passes on this sweet trait.
Neenah has excellent mothering skills and produces outstanding cria. She likes to be pregnant and is very attentive to her young. Neenah is an easy breeder and birther, and has an abundance of milk for her crias. She is protective of her crias, while letting humans handle them. Her crias average 13-15 pounds and are healthy - up and running and nursing at 30 minutes after birth.
Neenah passes her extreme fineness and her sweet personality onto her crias. When bred to a high quality sire of color, Neenah produces outstanding cria, letting the color of the sire through to her cria. To achieve optimal fine fleece with density and coverage, Neenah is best bred to a sire with density for show quality crias and fleeces.
