First Lady Pamela is a gorgeous light fawn experienced female with some classic Peruvian genetics such as PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, PPPeruvian Cordero, PPPeruvian Pandora, and PPeruvian Guellermo, and Jeronimo to name a few.
Pamela's sire is Day Star's Accoyo Numero Uno - the Full Peruvain and Full Accoyo son of the legendary PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. On her sire's side she also has PPPeruvian Cordero, PPPeruvian Pandora genetisc.
Her dam is Peruvian Hydrangea, the product of breeding a high end white female- Peruvian Heavenly Light to the well known Magical Farms herdsire Peruvian Jeronimo. Jeronimo is of course the award winning son of PPeruvian Guellermo and PPeruvian Epifania. Jeronimo is a big bold fawn Herdsire with excellent density, fleece character, and phenotype.
Pamela has a fine, soft buttery light fawn fleece, with a high frequency crimp structure and outstanding comfort level. Pamela's fleece is outstanding for hand spun fleece for products like hats, gloves, sweaters, and scarves.
Overall Pam is an average sized female - both in weight and bone structure. With a strong presence and square stance.
Personality wise Pam is a social animal and desires human attention. She is friendly with both her herdmates and humans, and is curious around humans and good with kids. Pam is one of the herd and is not aggressive around other females.
Pam is an easy breeder and indicates by being overly friendly when she is ready to be bred. Pam usually takes on first breeding, and has a 11.5 month gestation. She is an easy birther and has plenty of colostrum and milk throughout her nursing period. She is an attentive mother and protective of her crias, while letting humans handle and care for them. Pams crias average 15-17 pounds and are up and nursing within 30 minutes.
Pam's crias carry her fleece fineness and density, while passing on the color, density, and crimp structure of the sire. Pam also passes along her sweet personality and agreeable herd presence to her crias. When bred to a herdsire who carries density and crimp structure, her offspring have the potential to be show quality alpacas.
As an easy to maintain foundation female with Full Peruvian and Full Accoyo genetics, that produces high quality offspring, Pam would be a great addition to any breeding program. She also comes with a breeding to any of our available herdsires.
