Izzy is the farm diva and we love her for it. She is still the only alpaca we have that doesnt like to get wet, will follow you to remind you she hasnt been fed yet and knows she is all that. She is always one of the first alpaca visitors ask about. She is a delight! Admittedly, she is a tough one to add to the sales list. No one can believe I could part with Izzy and Im sure a few tears will be shed when she leaves for her new home, but its time to share our good experiences with other breeders too.
She was one of the first two females we purchased and the only one we still have from our original four. One look, or actually, one touch and I knew we werent going home without her! Her maroon fleece (graded as royal baby in fineness) was the most luxurious thing I had ever touched! This fineness has maintained well with age. She has a remarkable abscense of primary hairs and she has impressive blanket weight at sheering.
All Izzys cria have sold easily, with cute factor galore. She is an extremely attentive mother with ample milk and she breeds and births without trouble. She will be a welcomed addition to you farm whether you are an experienced breeder or new to alpacas.
She is currently not bred but will sell pregnant if it is the buyers desire to have her bred. You have your choice of any of Emelise Alpacas' males. I would probably choose Nevada or Renssalaer. Matching their fineness and uniformity while augmenting her character would produce a show-quality offspring of color. Although she is 12 years old, Izzy is in remarkably good shape. I have no doubt she will produce well for you for years to come. Izzy is featured in our November promotion featuring our open females, most of which are either champions/ribbon winners themselves or bred from champions. Choose the herdsire with whom you would like to breed her, make a reasonable offer, select your financing terms and let's negotiate a deal that best suits us all. This is a fabulous opportunity to diversify your genetics with some truly remarkable foundation females.
Please call for details or to arrange a visit to meet Izzy yourself.
