Michael's birth was one of those moments that make you love what you do.
I was worried about Angel's delivery as she was, as best we could guess, a little over due. I had gone back to the house to get a cup of coffee and walked back to the stable. I walked into the stable and out the other end where the animals were. I looked to my left and Angel walked into the open from beside the stable (there is a pathway there to another paddock). I watched her walk in front of me and thought she looked different. At that moment out of the corner of my left eye I caught this glimpse of a staggering little alpaca. Angel had delivered her baby and he was doing fine.
