Blue Beard is one of our special edition boys. He has a genuine loving personality, enjoys human contact and attention and to eat treats from anyone who will offer. Blue Beards lineage and history are unknown as we adopted him from a large farm that did not keep record or track their geldings. Blue Beard got his name from his unique blue marble colored eyes. Considered a genetic fault in breeding but as a gelding radiates beauty and engages interest and attention from all who see him. He is very curious and trusting he bonds quickly and learns even quicker. Trained in halter, fit & show, trail obstacles, public relation obstacles and handler classes Blue Beard has taken many blue ribbons, grand and reserve grand champion placing. Blue Beard is one of the most photographed animals on our farm, his pictures being in many newspapers and articles including the front page of The Columbian and in the Oregonian. If all this isn €™t enough to make him special, Blue Beard was also a certified therapy animal. Certified and insured through Dove Lewis €™s therapy program trained to go into schools, hospitals, libraries, retirement homes and much much more. Blue Beard is an amazing public relation animal and does wonders for publicity for our farm.
