Rosie O'BLUE is the first cria of our award winning sire, BLUE Accoyo Salzedo. She has wonderful fleece and some of the best Suri genetics in the country, perfect conformation and a sweet, laid back personality. Rosie comes from an impressive line that includes ancestors like Baron, Jackpot, Ramilo, Bruxo and Kalvin to name just some of the big names. Rosie's sire is our beige, award winning herdsire, BLUE Accoyo Salzedo. Salzedo has the most amazing fleece and no wonder -- the genetics this boy possesses are impressive, indeed! Rosie's grandsire is Jackpot's Accoyo Kalvin, and great grandsire CPeruvian Accoyo Jackpot, are both multi-ribbon winners and color champions as well. Salzedo's dam is also a Baron daughter. Salzedo is 7/8 Accoyo with gorgeous locking, luster and confirmation and he's passed this great locking on to Rosie. Rosie's dam, Shades of Silver, is a large girl, weighing 200 lbs. She has the finest locks and is a great mom with tons of milk. Rosie has inherited her mother's large, upright stature as well as the gray genetics that run throughout her pedigree.
Rosie has her own impressive show career winnings too - taking blue ribbons for her fleece and in the overall Best Lock for Suris category as well as a second place ribbon Halter at the in the 2012 Carolina Alpaca Celebration, in Concord, NC. Rosie has the wonderful locking of her sire, Salzedo, and her regrowth after shearing consistently shows that she is already locked down to the skin.
