Hercules sire is the famous Luc's Captain Kirk a Dom Lucilio son and his grandsire is Pperuvian Royal Fawn. Royal Fawn is the only light fawn Accoyo ever exported from Don Julio Barreda's herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one of the best that he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. Dom Lucilio has had 286 cria registered; only 9 are silver gray. It is a rare opportunity to have these genetics in Gray.
Hercules' dam is Merrimac's Desiree De Mico, a beautiful dark brown female that inherited the best qualities of both her parents. Desiree's structure is just about perfect, with heavy bone and good chest capacity. Desiree is a rich deep maroon with black points on her gorgeous little head (courtesy of her sire). Her fleece is not only a beautiful color but has density, shine, consistent crimp and a lovely handle. The judge at the CABA Classic (a level III show) agreed.
