Lucy is a lovely, feminine female out of our superstar Jeremiah son, Nevada and one of the grand-dams of our program, Kerlee Kue. We repeated this breeding when we were so pleased with Lucy's full brother, Vesuvius, and Lucy certainly lived up to the high expectations we had for her. She has luxuriously soft, fine fleece with a uniformity that glows and a nice tight, consistent crimp style. She is a very even medium fawn color and her fleece exhibits a staple length worth mentioning. She is phenotypically beautiful....just look at those photos.
Lucy is ready to breed and we strongly suggest breeding her to Tiburon. He might not be the obvious first choice, but the last time we crossed the pedigrees of Kerlee, Tiburon and Nevada, a 13 time champion, 2 time Judges' Choice was the result for Rock Creek Alpacas. She went on to be the high selling female at auction, selling for over $26000. Just think if that's on board for you! Obviously, if you would prefer to breed her to any of our other herdsires, the option is yours. Rennsalear, Aston Martin, Mission Accomplished and Tectonic Shift are all strong choices. Lucy is featured in our November promotion featuring our open females, most of which are either champions/ribbon winners themselves or bred from champions. Choose the herdsire with whom you would like to breed her, make a reasonable offer, select your financing terms and let's negotiate a deal that best suits us all. This is a fabulous opportunity to diversify your genetics with some truly remarkable foundation females.
