May, 2015: Almost a year has gone by and Thunder is growing into a very handsome teenager. We're still very excited to see what more this young man has to offer. May, 2014: And cria #3 is a boy and OMG the tight bundling, shiny brightness and slick feel to Thunder's fleece is amazing. We've had some pretty nice cria, but none that were covered with so many bundles. And, he doesn't mind me walking up to him and handling him; he's very calm. He is also very strong; an hour old and he was up on his feet for 20 minutes and then nursed for another 6 minutes! He is definitely taking after his handsome father ATRS Aston Martin. Thunder is short for the official rock of Oregon: Thunder egg is a nodule-like rock, similar to a filled geode, that is formed within rhyolitic volcanic ash layers.
