Hanblecheyapi (Han-blay-chay-ya-pee: Vision Quest) received his name due to our choice to cross the Patagonia's Mondavi line with Grand River Amstel bringing forward Shackleton / Caballero Andante along with Dark Shaddow and SA Crusader. When Irene delivered this boy it was clear that he did represent our vision of where true black huacaya are headed showing good bundles with crimp right out of the womb. We reserve judgement on a final determination of quality awaiting more maturity watching conformation as well as fleece development. Our most recent assessment sustains our view he is our Vision Quest.
