We have a Dark Fawn girl with strong grey genetics in her line with her mother being medium silver grey and her sire having Santino in his line that throws grey. If you look at Missy's face, you can see the grey in her muzzle and the impeccable coformation.
In 2014 we bred her to our Light Fawn Sire, Antonio and was delighted with the medium fawn girl that was born.
Last year she was bred to our white male, Torque in hopes of putting on the fineness and density that he is known for. Missy's line does throw more females than males.
Missy has a long staple length with density. She needs more fineness and better structure of fiber. What she brings to a breeding program is that she is an easy keeper, no problems with birthing and is a wonderful mom. If you put her up against some nice boys, she will throw exceptional cria.
This girl would be a great starter for a breeder interested in breeding for color.
