Wow, Granite has sure grown into a wonderful boy. He has exceeded our expectations in the show ring. He has beautiful grey fleece that is very crimpy with good staple length. He has complete coverage from his eyes to his toes. He has the same gorgeous typey head like his dad, Champion Gray MFI Toledo of Delphi Alpacas/Shadow Ranch.
After winning TXOLAN several spinners came over to check him out. Comments were "His fleece is like butter, unbelievably soft". His 2011 and 2012 fleeces have sold.
3-9-13 Argenta Granite's Pete (sold)took 6th place out of 11 juvies at TXOLAN in the dark brown class. He was the youngest at 7 mo. The judge commented on his conformation and his fleece structure.
5-5-2013 Argenta Granite's Equinox (sold)took 2nd place at GWAS at 7 mo old. Wade Gease commented highly on his "downy" softness and heavenly handle.
5-20-2013 Equinox took 3rd at AOBA Nationals. The judge again talked about his wonderful fleece as well as his conformation!
7-28-2013. Histogram! Compare his 2013 to his 2010. Slight differences! This boy is demonstrating lasting fineness.
5-31-2014. The first two Crias for 2014 are a silver grey male and a ros grey female! Both have awesome fleece!
7-9-2014 Granite is demonstrating lasting fineness as well incredible crimp at 5 years old.
5-2015 Granite's 2014 crias are doing very well in the show ring. He is proving himself and has 75% grey cria.
