Remington Steel or "Remington" is a multi colored suri herdsire with great genetics and superb presence. Produces excellent cria.
Remington is out of Red Lightening and award winning PFF Miss Magnolia. Miss Magnolia is a full Bolivian that has produced five other ribbon winning and champion offspring. Other genetics in Remington's pedigree include Acero Marka's Rag Top and Sablla of Bolivia, Marguerete, and Florida. His pedigree has colors ranging from white to medium brown and light rose greys.
Remington is a large alpaca with great conformation. He is an efficient breeder - not overly physical with the girls. He is an alpha male in his herd but not aggressive.
He has nice, solid conformation, with a good bite. Remington is easy to handle and is comfortable around people. He has a strong, presence, and is a big boy.
Remington's fleece is one of our farm's favorite and makes beautiful yarn. His fleece is multi colored with white and dark rose grey being his primary colors with some medium fawn blended in. The yarn turns out a lovely shade of grey. He has good lock structure, and a nice soft handle to his fleece.
Remington has produced two outstanding crias in 2013 - Michael Rowe Your Boat Ashore 4/13 and Rymalima's Mahogony Princess 6/13.
With his strong presence, sweet demeanor, and nice genetics, Remington would make a great herdsire for any ranch wanting his gorgeous color.
