Melody Lane Trumpeter produced 9.8lbs of total weight fleece for the 2015 shearing season.

Son to HHWI Accoyo Craftsman by Goldsmith, has passed along a lineage and history that Trumpeter has certainly acquired. Such names as: PPPeruvian Aletha (Peru), NWA LTD Accoyos Goldsmith, PPeruvian Felix (Peru), Vac Accoyo Ceilie, 6Peruvian Accoyo Celeste (Peru) and 6Peruvian Accoyo GrandTriumph (Peru)

Son to Melody Lane Peruvian Princess Viola her credentials are no less impressive. Lineage stems from: HAA Camalots Triumphant Son, 5Peruvian Camelot (Peru), Scotts Royal Gold (Trumpeters Grandfather), Mystic Meadows Mercedes (Granddaughter to the famous and well known Royal Fawn), Peruvian Ophelia, and 5Peruvian Fantasia (Peru).

With these traits in place, Trumpeter has a magnificent presence, beautiful shaped head conforming to his anatomy and a personality that is very gentle and laid back. His coloring is uniform/solid throughout his entire body and a striking medium fawn. His crimp is tight and small, very dense and bundles that you have to dig your fingers into his blanket to get to the skin line.

***Fleece Evaluation*** sample date 5/3/2013
Grade: 1, compares to less than 20 micron. Length: 4 to 41/2 inches, Crimp: Excellent, consistent crimp, Description: really beautiful fleece, especially for a working male. Brightness: Excellent, Guard Hair: Very Little

Melody Lane Trumpeter has presented an outstanding female offspring, Melody Lane Aria, a deep brown with loads of curls and folds cascading down the back of her neck and withers that signify more density as she matures. Her dam is JM Peruvian Morena. Morenas sire is Royal Peruvian Apollo and she is granddaughter to Royal Fawn. Well worth repeating this breeding.

Trumpeter is continuing his breeding career at Melody Lane Farm and can also do the same at a deserving farm that is serious about fiber and breeding to the best.

We will be glad to submit fiber samples upon request or host a farm visit to see Trumpeter.
